Sometimes, you do just gotta pop out and show n*****.

“Step” is a work portraying confidence and the beauty of raw, authentic expression. It’s one of the first works created a year after my mom’s passing. 

I believe this work says a lot. Whenever I take the time to admire and appreciate it, I’m always in awe of how I managed to create something so vibrant, bright, and colorful during one of the darkest periods of my life.

It’s a work that reminds me to keep going, step outside, and show the world that beauty and color still exist — even in times so dark when it’s hard to see.
